Walking

Coachman's House is ideally located for those that love walking. The village of Coniston is the heart of The Lake District not only making it easy

to access all areas of the Lakes, but is home to some fantastic walks just minutes from the door. At the house there are ordnance survey maps covering the whole of The Lake District and various walking guides that we hope you will find helpful. Below you will find a few local favourites but we also recommend a casual stroll through the village and down to Coniston Lake which is just a 10 to 15 minute walk from the house.
